Advisory Board

The members of the Advisory Board are:

Professor Chris Brunsdon is Director of the National Centre for Geocomputation at NUI Maynooth.  His research interests include: Spatial Statistics, Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis and Visualisation.

Mr. Martin Charlton is a Senior Research Associate with the National Centre for Geocomputation at NUI Maynooth.  He is an expert in the use of Geographical Information Systems.

Mr. Anthony Corns is Technology Manager with The Discovery Programme.  His research interests are GIS and 3D modelling of cultural objects, monuments and landscapes.

Dr. Susan Galavan is an architect, whose doctoral research at Trinity College Dublin involved a detailed examination of  Victorian domestic architecture in Dublin, focusing primarily on the Northumberland Road area.

Mr. Lar Joye is curator of the Art & Historical Division, National Museum of Ireland  and curator of the award winning Soldiers & Chiefs Exhibition at Collins Barracks and the recent History of Ireland in 100 objects and 1913 Lockout Exhibitions.

Dr. Aphra Kerr is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at NUI Maynooth,  where her research focuses on Information and Knowledge Societies and the Sociology of technology and media, including  digital games. 

Asst. Prof. Rachel McDonnell is Assistant Professor in Creative Technologies at Trinity College Dublin.  Her research interests   include computer graphics, character animation, and perceptually-adaptive graphics.

Dr. Ian Speller is the Director of the Centre for Military History and Strategic Studies at NUI Maynooth.  His primary area of interest is modern military history, naval history, maritime strategy and contemporary warfare.
